China – Send in the clown
Pinoy President Aquino is in Japan to pay homage to the Japanese Imperial Army that invaded his country and massacred thousands of his Pinoys and looted its treasures in WW2. He may even visit the Yasukuni Shrine to pay respect to the murderers and looters of his country. And to prove how useful he is, he even branded China as the Nazi of Asia but admitted that his knowledge of history is primitive. He did not know that the Japanese was part of the German Nazi Axis that had carved out the world for the Japanese Emperor and Hitler and with the Philippines to be under the rule of the Japanese Empire. Call him silly?
China should make this clown a joke of his country. China could do a couple of things to wipe his silly smile off his stupid face. An easy thing will be to stop the import of bananas, the only thing that this country is good at producing. The second thing is to tell Hong Kong to throw out the army of Pinoy maids, the second most famous product of the Philippines. That would surely make the clown jumps around in his little circus.
Oh, he may send his biggest antique warship to fight with the Chinese Coast Guards. Hope the Captain of the biggest Pinoy warship would not quote lack of fuel and supplies and flee one more time when the Coast Guards point their water hoses and threaten to flood its deck and sink it. If it sinks in the Chinese island, they would not have any ship big enough or the capability to drag it back to the American Subic Base. It would rust there under the hot sun like the other rusty scrap that was once a naval ship rotting in another Chinese island.,
This time he may called for help from the Japanese Imperial Army after being such a good boy in Tokyo. And the Japanese Imperial Army would love to return the Philippines again after they left in WW2.

Aquino had an audience with Emperor Akihito
In his latest visit to Japan, Aquino was given the honour to dine with the Japanese Emperor. This fine gesture is akin to Emperor Pu Yi being honoured by the late Emperor Hirohito of the Second World War. I could not remember if Pu Yi did enjoy this rare honour of the company of the Japanese Emperor then. If he did, he would be just as flattered as Aquino is today. Is Aquino hoping to be appointed to head another Manchuko in the Philippines should Japan decide to go on another military rampage to bring the whole of East and Southeast Asia under its neo Asia Co Prosperity Sphere?
In the days of Puyi and his Manchuko, Manchuria was the industrial base for raw material for the Japanese Imperial Army. Would the Philippines be able to provide the raw material needed by the industrial Japan and its war industry? If it could, Aquino would definitely be highly decorated and placed on high pedestal by the Japanese for his great contribution to the Japanese Empire. He has already been targeted as a good replacement for Pu Yi and is awarded the highest medal of Japan for his potential to be part of the Japanese Empire.
If the Philippines could not provide the industrial base, it could play the role of Korea by providing foot soldiers and comfort women for the Japanese Imperial Army. In these two areas the Pinoys would excel perfectively. Pinoy soldiers like war and are trigger happy. They are macho and enjoy being heroes. As for providing comfort women to the Japanese Imperial soldiers, this would be a piece of cake for the Pinoys, a job cut out for them.
The military alliance between Japan and the Philippines is a perfect match to rule East and Southeast Asia. They compliment each other with their comparative advantages. The Japanese are so happy with this catch in Aquino and Aquino is so happy to serve the Japanese Empire willingly. He must have seen many advantages in this make in heaven marriage of convenience.

The Philippines – Asean’s most power country preparing to take on China
A NYT article appearing in the Today paper on 21 Sep 15 discussed the thinking process of the Philippines and how it is trying to take on China in the boxing ring. In the 80s there was a surge of nationalistic pride among the Pinoys that eventually wrought back their independence from the USA and sending the Americans packing from two of the biggest American military bases in the world in Subic Naval Base and Clark Air Base. Both bases were the homes for the Americans in their Vietnam War and a home away from home in the USA. The infringement on the national sovereignty of the Philippines, in a way turning the Philippines into a semi American colony did not go unnoticed. The nationalists in the Philippines took to the streets to demand the GIs to go home. That victory was to the credit of the Pinoys unlike the Japanese and South Koreans where the Americans would not go home.
Today, the turn of events in the South China Sea with the Philippines at loggerhead with China, competing with China to claim islands for themselves is making the Pinoys thinking of reinviting the Americans back. They wanted to take on China militarily and are depending on the Americans for more financial and military aid and the possibility of stationing troops in Subic and Clark again.
The Philippines have chosen to fight China head on with the encouragement of Japan and the USA. While neighbouring countries of China chose to cultivate good relations with China and live in peace, the Philippines are thinking that they could take on China with the help of the USA and Japan. Once this mindset and policy are in place, it is all one way, to build up a strong military and even compromising their independence by allowing foreign military bases in their country.
Putting up a China threat with a China not interested or has no intent to set foot on the Philippines, the Pinoys have chosen or are in the process of choosing to become a semi colony of the USA by voluntarily inviting foreign military forces into their country.
No one can beat the Philippines in strategic military planning, in resolve to take on a super power and in nationalistic pride. That’s the way to go Pinoys. The Chinese are shivering in their pants. The GIs will roam the streets of Manila again. The bravery of the Philippines is best demonstrated in the spirit of Ello Ed Bello.

The war in Syria going to blow up
The Turks down Russian SU24 fighter jet yesterday when both sides were supposed to be fighting the ISIS. Putin called this a stab in the back while the Turks are claiming that the Russian jet entered their territories. Such silly behavior is very typical of some Asean countries, thinking they could pull the whiskers of a sleeping tiger. The Russians with Putin in charge would not let this event go unpunished. Turkey can expect a few bombs at their radar stations or airbases or a few F16s to be shot down by the Russians.
Turkey is behaving like little pesky countries thinking that with the US behind them they could go around shooting at anyone, including a nuclear power like Russia. There is no way they are going to get away with this silly act. The Russians are prepared to take on the Americas and Turkey is a push over.
This is a lesson that the Philippines and some Asean states must take note. Don’t try this silly trick on China. They will give them a blue black even if it risks the Americans joining the fray. There are things that silly pesky countries can do, there are things that they better not do.
The war in Syria will cross over to Turkey and the innocent people of Turkey will be the next war collateral. It is really baffling to think that leaders of a country could act in such a silly manner and think they could get away with it.
Well done Turkey, welcome to the war zone.

President Duterte – A new hand of cards
Under Aquino, Philippines did well economically, shrugging off the Sick Man of Asia title with decent economic growth rate. It could have been better if he has chosen a path for economic growth than to align with the two bankrupt powers in the USA and Japan. Both countries count offer aids to the Philippines, but not the kind for economic growth, aids in the form of more military hardware for war, to booster the fire in the belly of masochists in the Pinoys. Yes, Philippines is going to claim Chinese islands at all costs, even if to fight a war with China. Never mind if trade slowed to a trickle, never mind if bananas went back and returned to the Philippines. The chest thumping in the South China Sea islands, the acquisition of out of shelf life antique warships to sail around the islands are big ego booster. The hungry can go hungry, the economic, well, never mind.
Duterte has arrived at the scene, clean and free of options. He has so far towed a neutral line between politics and economics with economics take a stronger precedent. Duterte has the same choice as Aquino, American and Japanese weapons to go to war, or economic aids, finance and development to rebuild the Philippines, to go for higher economic growth to benefit the people of the Philippines and the country. China has the cash and the knowhow and the big market to drive the Filipino economy to greater height, to rebuild a new infrastructure that is badly needed, to link up the country with highways and super trains.
The politics of the South China Sea cannot be resolved in the foreseeable future and is best to go to the negotiating table while the two countries build on improving economic ties and cooperation to improve the lives of the Pinoys. Or would politics still be the dominant force in Filipino politics at the expense of economics? China could pour in billions into the Pinoy economy and only good can come out of it.
On the contrary, Duterte can join the American and Japanese alliance that could lead to nought but the possibility of warfare that the Pinoys would pay dearly. The Americans and the Japanese are broke and can only offer the rejects of their military arsenal, the mothball hardware or hardware destined for the museum to the Pinoys. Would these be good enough, would these improve the lives of the Pinoys and their economy?
At stake is the modernization of the Philippines, the rebuilding of a whole country to become a jewel in Asean. Which way would Duterte choose? He is new and has the liberty to choose with the mandate as the new President of the Philippines. His victory is testimony to what the ordinary Pinoys want, a better life, a peaceful life, not war and political rhetoric and libido.

‘We will not be lackey to anyone’

Now who said that? What do you mean by being lackey to anyone? This statement was made by the incoming Filipino Foreign Minister Perfecto Yasay. The Foreign Minister was confirming some of the foreign policy statements that the incoming President Rodrigo Duterte has been saying since his election. The Philippines foreign policy will be independent of any foreign powers and will be conducted from the interests of the Philippines and its people.

This is a clear change from the policies of Benigno Aquino that has been leaning towards the US and reinviting the Americans to their former military bases in Clark and Subic, in a way turning the Philippines into a semi colony of the USA once again. The Philippines will be the third Asian countries that allowed the Americans to station troops in their own soil as semi colonies. And Benigno is very proud of it, to be the lackey of the Americans. And his rewards, a WW2 museum piece that he called his biggest warship to take on China.

In the case of Japan and South Korea, they were reluctant to remain as such and wanted the Americans out but were unable to do so. The American troops are there to stay, to protect American interests and keeping the two states as part of the American Empire. The situation in the Philippines is different. Here there is a Filipino President happily and willingly subject his country to be a semi colony of the Empire by invitation, by choice.

Duterte would not have such nonsense. The Philippines will not be the lackey of any super power. This man has pride and is a nationalist. How many countries would go so low to welcome a foreign power to be their overlord, to become a semi colony, a lackey to a super power?

Duterte: America has lost
Duterte said this in Beijing, ‘Both in military, not maybe social, but economics also, America has lost. America has lost a 70 year ally in the Philippines to China.
The USA has been crooning the 70 years of dominating the Philippines as a smaller member of the military alliance as ‘rich people to people ties, including a vibrant Filipino American diaspora, and a long list of shared security interests.’ They did not want to remind the Pinoys that the relations went back even further, to 1898 when they invaded and colonized the Philippines and the massacres of the Pinoys by the Americans. …We also remain one of the Philippines’ strongest economic partners, the current stock of US foreign direct investment stands above US$4.7b’.
The 4 day visit by Duterte to Beijing has led to US$13.5b of agreement signed between the two countries with more to come. And it revives the centuries old relationship between the two countries and the people to people ties built over the past with more than 2m Pinoys with Chinese ancestry and many millions more with Chinese blood in them.
After all these years of manipulation, coercion and behind the door arm twisting, all the American effort and scheming came to nought on 20 Oct 16. The US$30m spent on the farcical kangaroo court proceedings and rulings went up in smoke. Would the Americans now send the bills to the Pinoys? All the cloak and dagger hustling behind closed doors in Asean minister meetings to fix China with the Pinoys as the point man now looked so ludicrous. It fell flat.
As they said, man proposed God disposed. Someone up there just said enough is enough and the chapter of American conspiracy to divide the Asean states against China must come to an end. The most crucial piece of pawn in the American game plan, the Philippines, called out. And Duterte even suggested an alliance with Russia and China, and to tell Putin ‘that there are three of us against the world – China, Philippines and Russia. It’s the only way.’
The changing dynamics of the Asia Pacific balance of power would look very different going forward. What would the Americans be thinking of doing? Brewing a military coup against Duterte or an assassination bullet? Would there be more punitive measures against the Philippines or more carrots, like throwing a few antique museum pieces as gifts to the poor brown brothers’ navy for Christmas?
The whole initiative to the new development came out of the blue, in one man, in Rodrigo Duterte. He wrote the script and played the key role to change the course of history of the Asia Pacific region. Now this is powerful.
The American camp is in total disarray, not knowing what happened or what hit them. Obama, you still there? Abe, where are you? More joint naval patrols, freedom of navigation in the South China Sea without the approval of China and the Philippines?
To quote Foreign Secretary Yasay, ‘The US Philippines alliance is the most profound and problematic institutional manifestation of this colonial legacy of arrested development…The US held on to invisible chains that reined us in towards dependency and submission as little brown brothers not capable of true independence and freedom.’

Duterte making the Americans in panic mode
Many silly Asian and Asean states were so desperate that they went crawling to Washington to beg the Americans to stay in their countries in fear of an imaginery straw man the Americans whispered to them. They simply forgot that it was the Americans that were desperate to be here. The Americans have an Empire to protect and needed many silly countries to be part of the Empire, to provide land for their military bases and to buy their expensive military toys and to obey and do what the Americans told them to.
The Americans have been harping about wars to frighten the silly Asian and Asean countries to rope them into their military embrace in military alliances. And to make the threat of war more real, they agitate, incite, provoke wars and tension in the region. They created straw men as enemies to frighten the silly Asian and Asean leaders. See, there is a great green monster over the horizon, you need us to protect you, allow our soldiers to be in your land to protect you from the green monster, buy our weapons to protect yourself. And there are all the rebels and anti govt subversive groups to feed, to nurture and to be trained to conduct subversive warfare against the govt to keep the govt on their toes, and the need for the presence of the Americans to protect the govt from being overthrown, either by the resistant or rebel groups, or if they are recalcitrant, refusing to allow the Americans to come in and take control, to be removed by regime change.
This strategy has been exposed by Duterte. By breaking away from the American military alliance, by adopting a friendly foreign policies to all powers, the threat disappeared. No more green monster. No more need to sign military alliances, no more need to buy more expensive military weapons and the money could go to more urgent and better uses.
Now the Americans panic. Duterte has called their bluff. It is the Americans that are falling on their knees, begging Duterte to let them stay, let them have their military bases in the Philippines. It is all about the Empire, stupid. The Americans would do anything to maintain and protect their Empire, to be the Number One hegemon in Asia and Southeast Asia. They will beg to be allowed in but the suckers would have to pay for it, through buying of super expensive American weapons of war, like the F35s and the THAAD system and what else.
Now is there any threat against the Philippines? Yes, Duterte’s life is under threat. He could be terminated, going the way of Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi, for daring to defy the Empire and the Emperor. That is the real threat to the Philippines, no the green monster.
Who needs who more? The silly Asian and Asean countries needing the Americans more, or the Americans needing the silly Asian and Asean states more? The Philippines is now under threat, not from the green monster. The Empire will not go away and will resort to all kinds of threats, overt and covert, to keep the Philippines under the Empire. There could be more ‘Muslim’ bombings in the South.
Duterte, be very careful. The people of the Philippines must stand up to protect the life of their President. While in Japan, be careful of what is being offered to eat and drink. Do not be poisoned or come back like a zombie.
Below is a quote by former President Estrada on how the Americans treated him and the Philippines like an American colony and meddling with their internal politics. Were the Americans there to quell the Muslim rebels or to breed them to serve American interests and to be released against the govt when needed?
‘The former leader recalled that when he was president, the US government would always try to coax him into doing what they want, like when US Defense Secretary William Cohen wrote him demanding a stop to Estrada’s “all-out war” against the Moro Islamic Liberation Front which was believed to be behind several terror attacks.

“They meddled in my fight with the MILF. They stopped me,” said Estrada, who is now on his second term as mayor of Manila. “When they suddenly removed me, they neglected the MILF which continued in their bombings,” he pointed out. “Just because the US is helping us [through official aid] that does not mean they can meddle in our internal problems. We are a sovereign country. We have our own Constitution,” Estrada said. “President Duterte’s action is right. Why are they meddling?” he added, referring to the US.’

Duterte calling the American’s bluff
Pay us if you want American forces on our land. This is what Duterte told the Americans. This man is proving to be the smartest of all the Asean leaders. He could see how valuable a military base in the Philippines is to the Americans. The Americans are desperate to want bases for their soldiers to extend the reach of the Empire and making turning countries into semi colonies of the Empire. They need bases everywhere for the Empire. It has nothing to do with maintaining peace or protecting the countries where the bases are located, it is to protect the American Empire.
Now Duterte is telling the Americans, you want to station American soldiers and military hardware in the Philippines, you pay! See, who needs who more? This was reported in Channel News Asia,
‘Hours after threatening to scrap the country’s Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) with the United States after the US-led Millennium Challenge Corp. deferred voting on its assistance to the Philippines, President Duterte imposed one condition on Washington if it would want the deal retained.
“You want to come back here? You pay us. You want bases here? Pay us. Transaction tayo, pera-pera na lang tayo, mabuti pa (Let’s enter into a transaction. Let’s make it all about money. We would be better off like that),” Duterte said in a speech delivered in General Santos City on Saturday night.
“There are no wars right now, why would I allow you here? You want to create World War III? If you do that, if all the nuclear explosives are really (used), this planet won’t be around tomorrow. It’s the end for all of us, so why would we pick a fight with anybody?” he added….’

But many silly Asean countries still believe that they need the Americans more and are begging the Americans to station their bases here and are willing to pay for it. And the naïve Donald Trump is going to ask all the countries having American military bases to pay for it? What a stupid joke. The Japanese and South Koreans would be most happy to get rid of the American soldiers and bases in their soil and free themselves from being the semi colonies of the USA.

Donald, please do the Japanese and South Koreans a favour, tell them to pay up and they would say, ‘So vely solee, we no pay, Yankees go home preeze.’

The Americans still wanting to con the stupid Asians that they needed to provide bases for the Americans, and the Asians must pay for the protection? Isn’t there enough proof that whenever and wherever the Americans are present there will be trouble, there will be wars, the Americans will raise tension, create instability, agitate and provoke wars. They will label another country as the evil one, provoke that country with threats of invasion, called war games, and telling the silly Asian countries that that country is a threat when that country reacts to American provocation?

Should Singapore be asking the Americans to pay for having access to base facilities here? Oops, they offer us training facilities too. Samula. In the case of the Philippines, the Americans would be on their knees begging Duterte to let them stay. And soon it would be the same in Japan and South Korea, please let our American soldiers and weapons stay in your land, we need to protect our Empire!

Who needs who more? Who is the stupid one, providing military bases for the Americans to protect the American Empire and paying for it? And also making enemies of countries that are enemies of the Americans.

In one stroke, Duterte has removed the blinkers from daft Asian leaders to see clearly a simple truth, that they were conned by the Americans without knowing what is happening. The devil started all the trouble, raise tension and then walk in as the protector to lower tension and maintain peace. Then they take control, take charge of everything including having their military bases in Asian countries. They write the rules and dictate everything, who is good, who is bad, which regime should be changed.
